TAG LINE CONTEST
The Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center is holding a community-wide contest to develop a "tagline" for the Center, which is scheduled to open in January 2009. The tagline will be used in all marketing and advertisements related to the center. Anyone at least 14 years-old is eligible to submit a tagline of no more than 8 words that truly exemplifies how the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center should be characterized. NOTICE TO SMITHFIELD WATER CUSTOMERS
April 8, 2008
The Town of Smithfield has revised the current water restrictions. Effectively immediately, Town Of Smithfield water customers may use irrigation systems under the following rules:
- No irrigation on Mondays
- Odd number addresses – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Even number addresses – Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
Voluntary conservation practices are encouraged for all other uses of water.
